Zao Make-up Organic brand produces cosmetics that are composed of natural ingredients. What is interesting, not only the substances included into compositions are of natural origins – all the cases and brushes are made of bamboo.
Colour scheme of eyeshadows’ is quite substantial. Zao categorized its palette into four groups including pearly, cream, matt and highlighting eye shadows. The pearly eye shadows contain bamboo stem powder and pure silica. The very substance regenerates skin and is actively engaged in production of collagen and strengthening elastine fibres. The other ingredients of the pearly eye shadows are organic rice powder that regulates sebum production and micronised silver powder that has anti-bacterial and easing action. There are twenty shadows available (i.e. Pearly White, Pearly Pinky Beige, Pearly Old Pink, Golden Sand, Pearly Turquoise, Peach Blossom, Azure Blue, Ruby Red, Plum, Sliver and Gold Copper).
Matt eye shadows is a collection of eight eyeshadows: Ivory, Brown Beige, Dark Brown, Golden Old Pink, Dark Purple, Black, Olive Green and Nude. They contain bamboo stem powder, micronised silver powder, organic macadamia seed oil and organic silica that has skin softening and luminizing features.
Cream eye shadows are composed of bamboo stem powder, micronised silver powder, Gingko biloba leaf extract (has cleansing action, protects skin against toxins and impurities) as well as yerba mate leaf extract (eases and tones). Cream eye shadows can be also used as a lip stick (Amethyst or Copper shadow) and as a concealer (Golden Bronze and Bamboo shade).
The last group of Zao colour cosmetics are highlighting eye shadows. We can choose among Golden Red, Golden Bronze, Golden Green and Highlighting Aubergine shades. Similarly to the above-mentioned Zao products, highlighting eye shadows contain bamboo stem powder, micronised silver powder, organic rice powder. The ingredient that separates this group of eye shadows from the rest is regenerating pumpkin seed oil.
All the eye shadows are closed in small, round cases made of bamboo. What is interesting and surprising at the same time, pearly, cream and matt eye shadows are refillable (highlighting eye shadows are loose in form). Suffice to push up the small hole in the bottom of the case to release the refill. This solution facilitates playing with all the shades as it lowers costs of the cosmetic.
Quality as well as composition of Zao cosmetics are proven by the certificates. The products do not contain any talc, preservatives, parabens nor paraffin. What is more, they are not tested on animals. Last but not least, the eye shadows are suitable for all skin types, including sensitive and prone to allergy one.
