Oiling Hair – how to do it?

Natural hair oils that derive from seeds, nuts and for years cherished in medicine and traditions of the East herbs, are the answer to all the problems associated with both hair and scalp.

Well-chosen oil works better and faster than a drugstore hair conditioner. Not only it nourishes hair on the surface, contributing to their spectacular look, but also improves and regenerates from the inside.

This treatment will help all women who try to grow their hair, eliminate dandruff and prevent its recurrence. Oiling also deals with many other scalp diseases. Additionally, it will cleanse your scalp of toxins and balance the sebum secretion.

How to properly perform hair oiling treatment?

There are many possibilities of using natural oils. Below, we would like to describe a few of the most popular methods. They are arranged in order of effectiveness (in the first place, oiling which gives the best results, the next ones are successively associated with less comprehensive care). The ideal solution would be to conduct full oiling treatment at least once a week and supplement it with another procedure described below.

1. Oiling dry hair.

Oiling dry hair requires us to devote some free time. In this case, oil must be applied on dry hair and scalp and left on for a few hours. What is more, it is a good idea to wrap hair in a warm towel to improve the effects of the oil. After the required period of time, wash your hair with a gentle shampoo. Most women apply the oil, wrap hair in a towel or plastic cap, go to sleep, and wash hair in the morning.

2. Oiling damp hair.

Oil can be applied on damp hair and scalp, previously rinsed with water or freshly brewed herbs. Such infusion can be made of horsetail, nettle or chamomile. This treatment does not require oil to stay on for a long period of time. One hour is more than enough. Damp hair cuticles open easily, therefore the oil has paved the way to the inside.

3. Oiling after washing hair, on damp hair.

It will work as a leave-in conditioner without rinsing. Such method will immediately nourish and tame hair. This version, however, does not require rubbing oil into the scalp. This could unnecessarily weigh it down. There is also no need to rinse it. From 2 to 3 drops of oil should be rubbed from the mid-lenght hair (more or less from the ear, downwards). Then, style it as usually.

4. Oiling in a form of a mist sprayed on hair.

Natural oils like company. Ideally, if they are accompanied by other natural oils or herbs. Brewed nettle, linden, chamomile and horsetail should be mixed with a few drops of essential oil and poured into a container with an atomiser. Then, the mixture is sprayed onto dry or damp hair.
